We love the illustrated hard covers that we occasionally get in here at BB, and this one's no different. Pair that with an awesome title like "Shanghaied" and, well, let's just say this book almost disappeared a couple of times before it made the book store.Super vivid colouring on the cover with a really quirky and retro illustrative style. We paired this bold and unique cover with an equally striking paper on the inside of the cover. A sea-blue, retro repeating pattern marries perfectly with the loud cover and the school-tye placeholder ribbon really finishes it off nicely.A really lovely, and superbly unique journal. Because of the laminate finish of the cover, there's minimal wear, but the book has a definite "I've been read" look and feel about it.
